Dr. Eric Hunstad
A second-generation dentist who graduated high school in Parker, South Dakota, Dr. Eric Hunstad carries on a family legacy in oral healthcare. He has been part of the Top Gum Dental team since 2015, and joined as a dentist in 2023 after earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry.
Before dental school, Dr. Eric attended South Dakota State University and served in the South Dakota Air National Guard as an avionics technician on the F-16 Fighting Falcon — the same aircraft his father flew. When he isn't treating patients, he enjoys putting his Private Pilot License to use.
Known for his warm, compassionate approach, Dr. Eric helps even the most anxious patients feel at ease, combining technology with a genuine commitment to preserving natural, healthy smiles for the whole family.
